Meagan (McBain) Ward has been in the health and fitness industry for over 28 years. She began her fitness career at Equinox Fitness Clubs in New York City, has managed and coached at 2 boxing gyms, worked at a private training studio in Orange County, California and maintained a full roster of in-home training clients prior to relocating to Southern Oregon. She has coached champions from 4 years of age to 85, from students to CEOs, from beginners to professional athletes in physical fitness, nutrition, boxing, golf fitness and the Mental Edge.
After being introduced to Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) by her golf pro, Meagan was inspired by their work and understanding of the human body as it relates to the golf swing, and all rotation sports. She quickly completed their highest certifications, Level 3 Golf Fitness with a minor in Level 3 Golf and incorporated this training with every one of her clients regardless of activity or sport.
Meagan's own mental and fitness journey has spanned a variety of disciplines including dance, a professional boxing career, golf, multiple marathons and half marathons, jump rope, a bodybuilding bikini competition and 10,000 push ups in 10 days to raise money for a children's health organization.
Through years of training her own brain to achieve her goals and simply feel happy on a tough day, Meagan has created her own style of meditations and coaching called Momentums. These are short meditations to do any time of day and can be done with your eyes open while walking, driving, cleaning the house or at work. She is also a Founding Member, Mental Edge Master Trainer, facilitator and contributor of Memovi, a meditation, motivation and visualization concept based on Ken Baum’s Mental Edge to help people perform their best in sports, business, school and life.
In April of 2017, Meagan relocated to Grants Pass, Oregon from Southern California having married the love of her life and becoming bonus mom to two incredible young men. They love to swim, play games, travel, and have fun with friends.
